We found this spot while striking out at a couple other places because they seemed to hot. It is beautiful with a partial open air dining room. It was very sanitary. The staff was very on point and the food was excellent. What I liked most was the service and the pacing of the drinks and dishes coming out. There was no waiting but was also not rushed. Very good.

We loved our lunch so much that we went back again for dinner! The portions were so big that we were able to take half the ceviche with us to enjoy on the beach later. Great staff, great food, great drinks!

Went to tulum for the day and stumbled upon Charlie’s. Our waiter Israel truly made our trip enjoyable. He made our trip memorable as we were only in tulum for a couple hours. Thank you Israel! We truly appreciate your kindness!

After walking around Tulum on a hot day, we were fortunate enough to find Charlie’s, a cool respite with perfect refreshment. We sat on the lovely covered patio and enjoyed delicious drinks and food. The hibiscus mojito was the best drink I had in Mexico. Also, it was an honest drink, something we found difficult to find in Mexico. Unhurried, attentive service capped off a lovely lunch. Don’t miss the fish tacos.

Incredible, this place deserves more business. The drinks were AMAZING – you must try the Mojito Maracuya (passionfruit) and the original mojito, best in Tulum. The food was INCREDIBLE – the chicken mole, al pastor tacos, the chicken flautas, etc. literally everything. But the real gem here. Charlie himself. What a character, definitely introduce yourself and get to know this man a little bit. He also has a beautiful, and surprising, art gallery in the back of his restaurant.
